Jessica Torres of Carson City became the first in her family to get a college degree during the 2015 Western Nevada College Commencementheld at the Pony Express Pavilion in Carson City, Nev., on Monday, May 18, 2015. Her brother Noel Torres from Yerington made the trip to help her celebrate.
